The next generation of the Toyota Camry is ready to hit the market. The upcoming 2018 Toyota Camry will bring various upgrades in every segment of the vehicle. This mid size sedan has always been very popular on the road and one of the brand’s best-selling vehicles for more than a decade. So now it is going to be better than ever.

The 2018 model year will appear with more elegant styling, more optional and standard equipment and much improved fuel efficiency. The 2018 Toyota Camry will arrive with three types of engines under the hood. So, the base model will get a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine which will be able to produce 206 horses and 186 pound-feet of torque. The next option will be a 3.5-liter V-6 unit which will have the output of 301 horsepower. Both engines will pair to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. Furthermore, there will also be a hybrid powertrain in the new Camry. It is going to be a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 176 hp in combination with electric motors. The total power of this unit will be 208 horses.

As for the fuel economy, the base engine gets 29 mpg in the city, 41 mpg on the highway and 34 mpg combined. The stronger 3.5-liter is rated at 22/33/26 mpg in the city/highway/combined. As for the hybrid, it gets 51/53/52 mpg.

When it comes to the exterior, the 2018 Toyota Camry will feature lower, wider and longer body this time. Its design will be sleeker than before with racier and sportier appearance. The front end features revised two-part grille and slim headlamps which will give it more aggressive look. The rear end will be more sculpted and will receive restyled bumper. The base model will ride on standard 16-inch steel wheels while the higher trims will be available with larger wheels in size from 17- to 19-inches.

The 2018 Toyota Camry will be available this fall. As for the price, it will start at around $24,000 and will go up to $32,500 for the top trim.
