The Toyota Aygo is the brand’s smallest model available. It is sold in Europe and it is built on the same underpinnings as the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 108. The first generation of this model debuted in 2005 and has been present on the market for roughly a decade. It has gotten some mild revisions in 2009 and 2012 and after the carmaker has introduced the next generation model in 2014. Since then, it hasn’t changed a bit. However, after four years since the new-gen model, the Toyota manufacturer has finally decided to give it some important changes and upgrades. It is the brand new 2018 Toyota Aygo which has been presented at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. However, this time we will talk about the newest version and it is the 2019 Toyota Aygo. Since the current model has just been released, the upcoming 2019 Aygo should remain unchanged.
The 2018 model year has just undergone a much needed mid-cycle facelift and it has brought upgrades in many segments. It is a small vehicle ideal for everyday driving which has now gotten more attractive and bolder styling. The new design of the wheels has been added too, so as some new exterior colors. As well, under the hood, it is now more powerful than before. Furthermore, inside the cabin, there is a new color combination, some small upgrades in the styling of the dashboard, and new material for the seats.

Design of exterior and interior
The Toyota Aygo has just been refreshed for the 2018 model year, so the 2019 Toyota Aygo shouldn’t get any new upgrades. The current version has been restyled with some new and more modern styling tweaks which are majorly visible on the front fascia. There is a large X graphic on the front, which give it a three-dimensional appearance. There are the new and more prominent headlamps as well with angular daytime-running lights. The changes on the rear are more subtle and the first things we can notice are the redesigned LED taillights and bumper. Furthermore, the wheels also feature a new design.
The changes inside the cabin are less visible too. However, there is new fabric upholstery for the seats and one more color combination too. As well, the infotainment system has been upgraded with some new menu graphics.
