The new 2020 Lexus CT Hybrid will be powered by the same engine option which is found in its predecessor. So, there is one single option and it is a hybrid powertrain. It is a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine combined with two electric motors. And it is the same engine which powers the Toyota Prius model. It is linked to a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and has the output of 134 horses. The front-wheel drive configuration will be standard and the only option as before. The new CT Hybrid will be able to hit 60 mph in roughly 10 seconds and its top speed will be limited to 113 mph. Furthermore, it is also very likely that the manufacturer will offer an EV version of this model as well. However, at the moment, there aren’t any specific details or information.
