The manufacturer has announced the
new 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro which should be presented later this year and
should go on sale after that. The new Tacoma will bring just some mild changes
this time and those should include some subtle adjustments in the exterior
styling while the interior might get some new color combinations. On the other
hand, we don’t anticipate any changes on the engine front this time.
Engine and performance of the 2020
Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
The newest 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD
Pro will return with the same engine which also powers the current model. And
it is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with direct injection which is able to deliver 278
horses and 265 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a standard 6-speed
manual transmission while the 6-speed automatic transmission will be optional.
The all-wheel drive configuration will also be standard. As for the fuel

will feature some modern elements such as LED daytime running lights. The
current model has gotten the new TRD Desert Air Intake and a new skid plate
with red trim in the TRD logo. Furthermore, depending on a trim level, each model

with all-season tires.

The materials used in its design are very quality and the cabin is equipped with many modern features. In the center of the dashboard, there is a 6.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. However, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity won’t be available one again.
As for the safety equipment, the
standard features will include lane departure warning, automatic high beams,
pre-collision warning, a rearview camera, airbags, cruise control, and so on.
As well, the Tacoma will also get power features, a 6.1-inch touchscreen for
the infotainment system, leather seats, dual-zone climate control, blind-spot
monitors, Entune system with navigation system, a premium JBL audio system, Qi
wireless charging pad, heated seats, push-button start, rear parking assist,
and many other items.
